Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Welsh and History (QV51)
The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Welsh and History course enables students to study the interaction between history, literature and language. They can study Welsh history modules and can also choose modules covering the history of Britain, Europe and the wider world. The provision in Welsh ranges from the tales of the Mabinogion to contemporary literature. Their linguistic studies will encompass the history of Welsh and its practical use for work-related purposes in preparation for employment in areas such as the civil service, local government, broadcasting, publishing, teaching, translation and arts sectors.
