Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Welsh and Linguistics (QQ15)
On this Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Welsh and Linguistics joint-honours course, the modules will be split between Welsh and Linguistics. Welsh is a broad area extending from the tales of the Mabinogion to the postmodern writing of authors such as Mihangel Morgan.
Linguistics is the study of language structure and use, how languages are acquired, how they are used, and how they may be impaired. As Wales increasingly embraces bilingualism students will also study the professional use of Welsh and aim for a career in marketing, local government, broadcasting, publishing, teaching, translation and arts sectors.
