Bachelor of Management - Accounting
Students can tailor their 4-year Bachelor of Management degree to their interests, by selecting the emphases of their choice.
Initially, students will establish a solid foundation of technical competence and skills with courses such as accounting, finance, information technology, management ethics, and international business, all the while developing effective management skills.
Students will learn principles of accounting, such as:
- designing and administering records of business transactions
- auditing and analyzing financial information to make capital budgeting decisions
- planning financial management policies
- developing business strategies
The Accounting Emphasis in the Bachelor of Management program prepares students with the core competencies recognized by and regulated by the Association of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA):
- Accounting principles and concepts
- Ethical decision making
- Professional judgment
- Professional and personal attributes
- Integration
Students' future careers could be in auditing, banking, financial and investment analysis, financial planning, and more.
