Master of Science in Statistics
The MSc in Statistics at Aarhus University is a flexible two-year program designed to build general competencies in statistics while allowing students to specialize in areas such as theoretical and applied statistics, and probability theory. The program is open to students from universities in Denmark and abroad and is characterized by a strong focus on theoretical aspects. Teaching is research-influenced, with lecturers who are active researchers, and includes both theoretical and practical exercises. Students benefit from an informal relationship with faculty, particularly during thesis work in the second year. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in universities, research institutions, the pharmaceutical industry, telecommunications, finance, and insurance sectors.
