London Metropolitan University's Interior Architecture and Design (including foundation year) BA (Hons) is designed to help students build a portfolio of work, while developing the skills necessary to begin an undergraduate degree. This course adopts an innovative approach to teaching, designed to help students explore their capabilities and guide them towards establishing an individual direction within creative practices in the School of Art, Architecture and Design.

The intensive foundation year will be shared with other students in the School and will help students develop knowledge and skills related to a range of specialist undergraduate degree programmes. In the first term, students start by taking part in a range of short studio and workshop projects in visual imagery and practical making. The following term will cover spatial and orthogonal drawing, inhabitation, materials, process, modelling, structure, scale and surface.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. 

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
