Accountancy is at the core of every business which means that the BA Accounting and Finance course offers students a range of opportunities in every industry, from banking to fashion and everywhere in between. Students will develop their advanced theoretical knowledge as well as a practical understanding of all things finance. Covering key areas within financial and management accounting, taxation and business law, they’ll gain a deep understanding of the role accounting plays in successful organisations.
During their studies, students will have the opportunity to do a paid work placement, either as a year-long project or two shorter placements. Here students will get the chance to test and improve their technical skills in the real world, as well as building their soft employability skills such as communication and team work.
