Bachelor of Science - Environmental Science
The Bachelor of Science in environmental science program will provide students with expertise in biology, chemistry, earth science and engineering, allowing to analyze complex environmental issues, propose sustainable solutions, and advocate for policies that promote human and natural system health.
The comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum in the Bachelor of Science in environmental science includes core courses covering fundamental concepts such as ecology, biology, chemistry, engineering, geology and environmental science. The program incorporates hands-on fieldwork and laboratory experiences, allowing to develop practical skills in data collection, analysis and interpretation. Students will put these skills into practice through research projects supervised by Trine University faculty and/or internships with governmental agencies, non-profit organizations and private companies.
