Master of Science - Nutrition for Sport and Exercise
Nutrition improves performance; whether in elite sport, amateur fitness or exercise among the general population. This course will enable students to gain the evidence-based knowledge and skills needed to become a professional Sports and Exercise Nutritionist. The course has been designed to enable them to join the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr), the professional register for qualified sports and exercise nutritionists in the UK.
Cardiff Met is applying for accreditation with the SENr in the 2024-25 academic year and will know the outcome in July 2025. They have been advised by SENr that if accreditation is approved, that accreditation will apply to students already enrolled on the programme.
Students will be taught by experienced academics, including registered SENr practitioners, to ensure they enter the workplace with the skills needed to positively impact performance of whoever they are working with.
