Program Description
The MRes Agriculture and Food Economics at Reading will prepare you for doctoral studies in agricultural and food economics and marketing. It provides rigorous training in research methods to prepare students for research careers in academia or in non-academic organizations.
This master's program will:
- prepare students for doctoral studies in agricultural and food economics and marketing.
- equip them with applied economics, marketing and quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
- give them the opportunity to apply their learning to a diverse range of contemporary farm, food and rural issues in both developed and developing country contexts.
During the studies, students will develop applied economics and marketing skills – including quantitative and qualitative research techniques – and then apply them to a diverse range of contemporary farm, food and rural issues in both developed and developing country contexts.
