Program Description
The MRes Law program places emphasis on doctrinal, theoretical and contextual study of law, and s students self-understanding as a participant in the practice of legal scholarship.
The University of Reading was ranked 10th for research intensity in a recent national assessment, with 100% of its research rated as world leading or internationally excellent.
Offering ideal preparation for PhD studies, this program will enable students to develop advanced skills in legal research methods and analysis of law and legal issues. Students will be part of a very small cohort of high-calibre students, undertaking sustained training in methodological approaches to legal research. Students will have full access to the library, student common room and all other facilities available to Reading Law students.
