The University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol’s International College offers pathway courses in partnership with UWE Bristol, and is integrated into the University campus. The College is fully equipped to help students prepare for their university degree. With dedicated and experienced staff and outstanding facilities, students will be supported at every step as they start their path to university. Students at UWE Bristol’s International College can choose from a number of courses, with progression to undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. 

A pathway course at UWE Bristol's International College (UWEBIC) will provide students with the skills they need to study a degree course at UWE Bristol. As well as English language study, students will learn academic and subject-based skills to help them prepare for university. The College has three pathway options available to students: Foundation Year, International Year One, and Pre-Masters. If students successfully complete their pathway course at the required level, they are guaranteed entry to their chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degrees at UWE Bristol.

Off-Campus Accommodations Students wishing to live off-campus need to research availability on their own, and should arrive well before the start of term to do so. HOMESTAY There are a wide variety of homestay options available, and our partner schools do their best to match students and hosts according to their interests and preferences. All homestay accommodations have been inspected, and all adults in the home have completed a required criminal reference check.

Cooperative education (or co-operative education) and internships are methods of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience. A cooperative education experience ("co-op"), provides academic credit for structured job experience. Co-ops are full-time, paid or unpaid positions. Internships may be full-time or part-time, paid or unpaid positions.

Post-Study Work Visa will be open to all students, on Tier 4 visas, who are accepted onto a course in the 2020 intake or later. Once you have successfully completed a course of study at the undergraduate level or above at an approved UK Higher Education Provider you would be able to stay and work (in any sector or at any level) for a maximum of two years.
