About
Why RMIT University?
RMIT is a global university of technology, design and enterprise. One of Australia's original tertiary institutions, RMIT University enjoys an international reputation for excellence in professional and vocational education, applied research, and engagement with the needs of industry and the community. RMIT is a world leader in Art and Design, Architecture, Education, Engineering, Development, Computer Science and Information Systems, Business and Management and Communication and Media Studies. Our courses of study are offered across 4 academic colleges and 16 academic schools. Next in teaching - Next in Teaching is RMIT University's platform for sharing innovative teaching practices, learnings and celebrations from inside and outside our physical and virtual classrooms. All stories and case studies are written by (or with strong influence and assistance) our educators, teaching support staff and learning and teaching support teams. By sharing best practice examples, learnings and thought leadership, we hope to engage with colleagues across the tertiary education sector in conversations about the future of learning and teaching and how we can continue to improve the student learning experience.
