Why Westcliff University?
Westcliff University was established to provide quality education for students wishing to enter the expanding fields of Business and Education. Westcliff received its initial approval with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education in 1993 (www.bppe.ca.gov) and is accredited under both the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) (www.wscuc.org), and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Westcliff is comprised of a College of Business, College of Education, College of Technology & Engineering, and Western State College of Law. Westcliff University offers graduate and undergraduate certificates and degree programs intended to prepare students for immediate entry and advancement in their respective industries. While some schools only teach theoretical concepts, the programs at Westcliff University prepare students for the practical and theoretical elements required in the job market today. Westcliff University offers full-time working students a chance to enroll in 100% online courses or take courses onsite at its campuses in beautiful Southern California. All programs at Westcliff are designed to be convenient, flexible, and affordable. Scholarships
Dr. David McKinney Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to a select number of students who demonstrate an aptitude for excellence, a grand vision for the future, and a keen sense of social responsibility to leave the world a better place when they are gone.
Scholarship Criteria:
1. Awarded 3 times per year (prior to each semester)
2. Eligibility limited to new students to Westcliff University
3. Minimum 3.5 GPA from a qualifying degree (or credits completed)
4. Award amount up to $10,000 distributed over one year with continuous enrollment
5. Multiple awards may be given
6. Maintaining eligibility requires an annual renewal application and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
Founder's Scholarship for Business: Established for high-performing students who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in pursuit of a doctorate in business administration at Westcliff.
Scholarship Criteria:
1. Awarded 3 times per year (prior to each semester)
2. Eligibility open to new and continuing students
3. Minimum 3.5 GPA from a qualifying degree (or credits completed)
4. Award amount up to $5,000 distributed over one year with continuous enrollment
5. Multiple awards may be given
6. Maintaining eligibility for the year requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 (for Doctoral and Graduate)
7. Maintaining eligibility for the year requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (for Undergraduate)
