Scholarships
General Academic Scholarships: Academic scholarships are available to first year applicants seeking an associate or a bachelor degree. All awards are renewable yearly based on satisfactory academic achievement and good standing at University of Bridgeport. All incoming undergraduate international students are automatically considered for these scholarship awards once all application materials have been received Academic scholarships range from $5,000 to $20,000 per academic year, and are based on academic excellence and English proficiency. No separate application form is required to be considered for these scholarships.
- Trustee Scholarship: $20,000
- Presidential Scholarship: $15,000
- Provost's Scholarship: $12,500
- Deans Achievement Scholarship: $10,000
- Academic Achievement Grant: $5,000
- Athletic Scholarship: Varies Scholarship opportunities for international graduate students We are very pleased to announce that University of Bridgeport offers an international graduate scholarship program for incoming international graduate students.
- There are two amounts awarded: $3,000 $4,000 These awards are based on the students academic achievement and test scores.

On-Campus Housing
Living on campus is an important part of the overall experience and development of students at the University. Off-Campus Housing
At University of Bridgeport, all full-time matriculating students with fewer than 90 credits who live more than 30 miles from campus and are under 21 years of age are required to live on campus. However, some graduate and upper class students choose to live off campus in the surrounding community.
Our goal is to assist you in making decisions about living off campus and to enable you to develop a housing search strategy. We have provided information on how to find housing options that best meet your needs, your rights as a tenant and where to get help if you have any questions. There are several ways to find rental housing in the Bridgeport and surrounding communities.
